We have 29 episodes left of Soul Land, so Soul Land 2 will probably be released after that. Around March 2023, but the Tencent might do a surprise and release it concurrently with Soul Land at which point I do not know of the release schedule

Why are they creating souland2 when they can continue this masterpiece .I hope they don't end the soul land series in rush.

I wont comment on whether this is a masterpiece or not but

1. Because the donghua is nearing the end of the novel, so they wont have any source material to go on with. The studio attempted to be creative with changes, and that didnt turn out so well with a lot of subscribers complaining, so it is doubtful they will continue beyond what is in the source material.

2. Rumour has it that the author is quite keen on turning his works into donghua, so studios are picking up his works left right and centre, we have seen two of his works being released this year already. Whether it is because he wants money or he just wants his works turned into donghua is unknown.

3. Soul Land 2 has been in development since Aug last year. 29 episodes is still quite a fair bit away, we are talking about Mar 2023, that's more than half a year away.

And in regards to your comments about rushing the ending, I hate to tell you but the author himself rush the final arc, making weird plot twist and things complicated when it didnt have to be. I want you to imagine last week's episode as the final episode. That is how it feels like when the novel ended.

I'm with you This Show has been awesome Very much worth my time anyone complaining it's not Verbatim should try writing animating scripting & funding their own Version for us to judge.... unless they can provide that should just keep their trap shut ...the caption clearly says based on Novel ...means the foundation is built on Novel but everything is Subject to change. I'm Sure there's many more who feel this show has Been Great from Start till this point!!

That's the thing with TJSS, oh Ma Hongjun is lonely let's give him a girl, then. but make her look like she is going to become stronger then he keeps her weak and decides to make him lonely again, of course thankfully it is not in Soul Land, but in later novels

The thing with Ma Hongjun is that I doubt he wouldn't still chase girls once he reached godhood. I can kind of understand why TJSS went that way for Bai though. She is very weak compared to the rest and there is a limit to how strong she can become since her main focus is speed and recon.

Ma Hongjun actually regrets ascending to godhood, and wished he never did and he wanted to grow old with her and die with her

It wasn't about her really. It was Ma HongJun who failed to qualify for a 1st class god and he has to settle for a 2nd class god hence he's not entitled to bring along any "mortal" family member. First class gods can bring spouse along while god kings can even bring parents.

This is also another gripe of mine — XW also just managed a 2nd class god and in order to level her up with TS, TJSS ridiculously boosted her power to a half-step god king without any ground except that she "shares" TS's God position. Not to mention her health was already waning and just how in the world does her power multiplies so much?!!🙄 Everything about her screams plot armours!!

😛 it's been awhile since I read dd1, but as far as I remember they were trying to pair her up with TS and TS shirk her off to ma hunjun saying that birdxbird bird soul theory and have ma hunjun showed off his evil phoenix martial soul. The grandfather was really impressed with it but he was more perfunctory than approved them. Since they were trying to climb up the son of the youngest fenghuo dourou, not being a subordinate of haotianzong. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I dont recall that, but like you it's been a while since I read the novel. On occasion when i want to clarify matters I used to refer back to the novel as each episode is released, but since they made so many changes I gave up lol

lol word has it that Magic Motion is already developing the sequel to season 5 of Doupo Cangqiong, they have released videos of the concept designs, so Doupo Cangqiong "might" be continuous like Soul Land, but dont take my word as gospel for now until I can get confirmation lol

While Sparkly Key Animation, the studio producing Soul Land seem to have a few new season donghuas lined up but no release date. Qinshi Mingyue, Tianbao Fuyao to name a few, and two new IP donghuas

It'd be a shame that swallowed star's season ended but I actually wouldn't mind seeing a continuing stream of episodes for BTTH till the end of the story. xD

That might cut down the number of years to finish from 13.5 to 4 years lol

lol I know you prefer manhua over the novel, but you should try the novel if you have the time, it is more detailed. The manhua really tones down the violence and Xiao Yan's ruthlessness though

Like after he saves the Han sisters, (you should see one of them soon) from someone who wanted to marry them, he goes around crippling or killing them while they are incapacitated to make sure they dont come back up to the shock of the audience and the Han sisters lol

It's kind of a mix of a few things than just preferring to read them. When I try reading something that is a lot of text and not beneficial like an academic paper, I become lethargic and feel sleepy. Can you imagine how long it'd take if I fell asleep every two pages or even falling asleep every one page lol

Though that would be a good way to go to sleep in the future if I ever had sleeping difficulty. Reading the manga is more stimulating for me and I don't have that trouble.

lol yes I certainly relate to that, when reading some novel I sometimes get sleepy but the worse part is when reading and I cant sleep at all, and as I yawn the tears burns my eyes

The live action drama was pretty bad, someone was raving about how good it is, but the majority of people hated it

MDL got girls gushing over the main character cause he is cute, and the boys getting a hard on cause the main female lead is cute, so yeah more cute power over to you
